I’m pretty thrilled to be able to announce today that Allison of All for the Boys will also be joining the MPMK team as a regular contributor. If you’ve been paying attention, then you already know I’m a fan (featured her here and here). As you’ll see from today’s post, her ideas are spectacularly fun but also remarkably simple.

You really won’t be able to resist trying them out at home. It’s no secret that we love forts, tents, and hideaways over at All for the Boys so I am super excited to share this simple tutorial on how to build a structure out of newspaper. The way you create the structure can be modified depending on the age of your kids. Take two sheets of newspaper, lay them out flat and start rolling it from one corner. Secure the end with a small piece of tape Now make as many rolls as your kids will allow. Create as many triangles as you can with your newspaper rolls. Your structure size will depend on how many triangles you made.

P.S.

For fun

Gogo's Crazy Bones. Gogo's Crazy Bones (also referred to as Crazy Bones or Gogo's) are small, collectible figurines that became popular fad during the 1990s and 2000s.

Gogo's Crazy Bones

They are produced by Spanish company Magic Box Int., and PPI Worldwide Group,[1] the sole distributor in North America. History[edit] Crazy Bones was launched in the United States by Peter Gantner after witnessing the success of Barcelona-based GoGos in Spain,[2][6] which had sold over 350 million packs from its inception in 1996 to 1997. [citation needed] Gantner formed Toy Craze in December 1997 with his brother David Ganter and businessman Scott Harris[disambiguation needed], and the company acquired the distribution rights in the US.[2] Some sources indicate Bill Flaherty, who became President of Toy Craze, also founded the company.[7] Gogos agreed to provide him with inventory for no of the money down in return for 50% of all profits.[6] This deal was later renegotiated, and the manufacturer was later paid a royalty of sales.[6] US[edit]

Dinosaur. Dinosaurs are a diverse group of animals of the clade Dinosauria. They first appeared during the Triassic period, 231.4 million years ago, and were the dominant terrestrial vertebrates for 135 million years, from the beginning of the Jurassic (about 201 million years ago) until the end of the Cretaceous (66 million years ago), when the Cretaceous–Paleogene extinction event led to the extinction of most dinosaur groups at the close of the Mesozoic Era. The fossil record indicates that birds evolved from theropod dinosaurs during the Jurassic Period and, consequently, they are considered a subgroup of dinosaurs by many paleontologists.[1] Some birds survived the extinction event that occurred 66 million years ago, and their descendants continue the dinosaur lineage to the present day.[2] Etymology Definition The common House Sparrow (Passer domesticus) is often used to represent modern birds in definitions of the group Dinosauria General description.
