Après m'être plongé dans les débuts de l'animation japonaise le samedi, j'ai enchaîné le dimanche avec la conférence de Moto Hagio, l'une des figures historiques du manga, notamment shôjô et science fiction. La mangaka a eu un programme chargée, avec un atelier de 4 heures au centre Pompidou, avant de terminer, moins d'une heure plus tard, par cette conférence, qui a duré 2 heures pleines! L'entrée étant libre et la petite salle n'ayant que 150 places, je suis venu à l'avance mais finalement, s'il y eu du monde à l'ouverture, ce n'était pas non plus la cohue, l'heure et l'endroit n'étant pas propice à faire venir ceux qui passaient par hasard. L'organisation était simple, avec deux intervenantes, Moto Hagio et Hiroko Uchiyama, une professeur à l'université de Joshibi, qui conduisait en fait cette séance, en présentant des diapositives à l'écran. Pour Moto Hagio, la bande dessinée est un média très riche capable de marier l'écrit avec une communication graphique spécifique.
