87 Great Photography Blogs and Feeds

Below are 87 of the photography blogs I follow, though some more closely than others. So if you’re looking for more reading material, I’m sure you can find one or two in this list that suit your needs. I tried categorizing everything, but there are several blogs that cover many topics and I was having a hard time coming up with concise categories.
The usual topics of photography? Landscapes and horses, guitarists and cats, bicycles and beaches, female nudes posing and happy children playing: peaceful atmospheres, mostly avoiding political headlines – (except professional photographers working for newspapers). Ben Heine added his drawings to photos trying to create more sophisticated messages. http://flickrcomments.wordpress.com/2011/12/01/pencil-vs-camera-ben-heine/

The Big Picture - Boston.com

http://www.boston.com/bigpicture/ After 10 years of civil war, Sierra Leone is at peace. Charles G. Taylor, the former president of Liberia and once a powerful warlord, was convicted April 26 by an international tribunal of 11 counts of planning, aiding and abetting war crimes committed in Sierra Leone during it's civil war in the 1990s. Taylor was guilty of involvement in crimes against humanity and war crimes, including murder, rape, slavery and the use of child soldiers. Prosecutors alleged that Taylor, from his base in neighboring Liberia, directed and armed the rebels and because of that, bears direct responsibility for the results of that war. The eleven-year conflict (from 1991-2002) left more than 50,000 dead and was marked by unprovoked and unjustified violence - especially the amputation of limbs.
