Welcome to ArduMower.de. Details Details Category: Blog Published on Wednesday, 04 January 2012 17:55 Written by Markus Hits: 28418 Ardumower - Open Source robot lawn mower project Everyone knows them, some already have one: a robotic lawn mower!
Build Download Run! Introduction video (all parts can be purchased via our shop) How far has this project gone already? 1000 members have registered to the Ardumower forum already! At first, it was just ideas for the selection of electronic components for a simple, modular robot mower system including motor driver, sensors and microcontroller. Why did we create this project? Objectives of the project: low-cost, ready-made components, replacable (à la RC model: stick together receiver, controller, motor, servo...)Little soldering - easy programmingonly the minimum of components (keep it simple!) Wait - but isn't this project too complicate for me? Is this project also about building a chassis, or only about Ardumower electronics and Arduino code? Great, but how can I start? A Robotic lawn mower powered by Solar Energy with an Arduino heart.
This robot will mow the grass of your garden, staying within a defined area, avoiding all obstacles and working in complete autonomy, automatically charging itself with a solar panel.
In this post we present a robotic lawn mower, powered with solar energy and able to operate just with the clean energy from the sun; this one is a great difference from the commercial projects having a robot in need of a charging station connected to the electrical grid. When designing a lawn mower powered by solar energy, it is essential that most of the energy comes from the sun, and of course the ultimate result would be obtained if solar energy were enough to completely power up the robot: this one is however an objective that will be very difficult to obtain, given the low efficiency of existing solar panels.
For this kind of usage, less power is needed, and can be easily managed with a battery powered system. Let’s move now to a more detailed description of the electric part adopted by this project. Johnny Chung Lee - Projects - Wii. As of June 2008, Nintendo has sold nearly 30 million Wii game consoles.
This significantly exceeds the number of Tablet PCs in use today according to even the most generous estimates of Tablet PC sales. This makes the Wii Remote one of the most common computer input devices in the world. It also happens to be one of the most sophisticated. It contains a 1024x768 infrared camera with built-in hardware blob tracking of up to 4 points at 100Hz. This significantly out performs any PC "webcam" available today. Any software on this page is primarily meant for developers and may not run without proper the development tools installed. NOTE: For most of these projects, you don't need the Nintendo Wii console. Coming Later: 3D tracking, and more.... Unfortunately, time constraints in the next couple of months have significantly reduced my ability to work on more projects.
