When photographer James Mollison was asked to do a project on children’s rights , he found himself thinking back to his childhood bedroom and the deep importance it played in his upbringing. Taking that idea with him around the world, he photographed a diverse cross section of children and the bedrooms they call home. His moving images remove the children from their home environment, showing them before a neutral background that mostly hides their economic status as if to say “kids are just kids.” Only when their bedroom is observed, however, does the full scope of their living situation become poiniently clear.

a few years ago i attended an uh-mazing banksy exhibition in downtown los angeles and have been eagerly awaiting the elusive graffiti artist's return. alas, mr. bansky choose instead to set up his latest wares in new york and bristol . on june 13th, banksy's largest exhibition entitled " banksy versus bristol museum " was unveiled at the bristol city museum. it features more than 100 of banksy's works mixed amongst the museum's permanent collection (including a mouse with a backpack tucked inside of a natural history case. someone, please send me a picture! check out the mouse here . thanks, matt, more the picture!).

If you are searching for some free photo databases, you may find it difficult to find such sites which contain images at high qualities. Some artists and designers made such sites in order to share their creations and also to promote them. If there was a prize that could be given out to the most creative father, I'd hope that it was awarded to Jason Lee. A wedding photographer by day, he's used to capturing some of the most important moments in a couple's lives. As a longtime fan of Jason's photos on Flickr however, I think the real magic happens when he turns the camera onto his daughters. Sure, his children are adorably cute in their own right, but that's not what makes his photos so interesting.
