Bourbon meets bacon in this curious condiment. Jim Beam Bacon Mustard ($19/6-pack) is made using Jim Beam, adding a subtle bourbon flavor to the mustard, which mixes perfectly with the smokey, delicious bacon flavor. Warning: placing this on a beer-cooked brat might cause the universe to implode from boozy, meaty awesomeness, so use with caution. [Scouted by Ryan] Ever wanted to own a Desert Eagle or assault rifle but don't want the worry that can come with firearm ownership? Build your own using LEGO Heavy Weapons ($25).

Continue reading ‘Elle Chine…’ Discovered during the exhibition Louis Vuitton x Marc Jacobs at Musée des Arts Décoratifs, i spend minutes mesmerized by the dancers. Shame on me I didn’t hearded about Sweet Charity ( Bob Fosse , 1969) before. I immediately placed an order on Amazon, it is already a cult movie for me and Suzanne Charney is just amazing.Certains lecteurs de ce blog considèrent son contenu comme discutable et l'ont signalé à Google. On the surface, Ryan McNamara's latest exhibitions looks like a bizarre collaboration between Jim Shaw and Ryan Trecartin with floating heads and hyper-expressive characters. McNamara deftly presents his chaotic vision through a mixed media installation which serves as an ongoing performance within the gallery. For the initial weeks of the show, McNamara interacted with visitors and used this fluid collaboration to cull material and images. Still is on view through April 7th 2012 at Elizabeth Dee , 545 West 20th Street, New York.

Thursday, March 22, 2012 I can’t believe Spring is here so quickly. Cool evenings and warm afternoons, my assistant Maggie says it’s her favorite time of the year because she can wear everything in her wardrobe all at once. Wednesday, March 21, 2012 Transitional dressing….Summer shoes and Winter coat.My friend Matt Smith over at Smoke and Throttle has been schooling me on the legend that is John Melniczuk. All this incredible Triumph racing/building history and a showroom of beauties to die for, and in my own beautiful home state (no joke) of New Jersey of all places. “John Melniczuk is not just a Triumph enthusiast whose hobbies turned into an occupation. He’s been working in the field since the ’60s when he was just a young man at his fathers Triumph dealership– Bauer Cycles (established in 1953). John’s grandfather owned another dealership, Cycle Sports Center, which sold Indians and Vincents among others.

In follow-up to " Tender ", his dedicated volume on vegetables, London-based food writer Nigel Slater turns to the fruit section of his garden in " Ripe ". The beautifully photographed tome serves as a comprehensive primer on 23 types of fruit and a collection of more than 300 recipes, but most importantly, reads like an alphabetically organized love letter to each and every variety, from apples and apricots to gooseberries, damsons and elderflower. Overseeing a 40-foot terrace garden off his London flat, Slater extolls his devotion to fruit, which despite their secondary role in the importance of his growing efforts, fill him with an unparalleled sense of joy and wonder season after season. "I always knew that if ever I found a space in which to grow a few knobbly vegetables of my own, some of it would be set aside for fruit," says Slater in an introduction that walks the reader through each row and past each bush and tree of his small city garden.
