No-Bake Chewy Cookies and Cream Bars. Oh how I love a treat that can be whipped up in about 15 minutes. My boys and their buddies couldn’t get enough of these Chewy Oreo Bars we had as an after school snack this week. Sometimes my spontaneous recipe creations turn out to be the most fun, lol! Yes you use an entire package of Oreo Cookies, but what you get in return is a marshmallow-y Oreo treat that is worth every bite Surprise the kids (and yourself) with this one, they’ll be all smiles, Enjoy! 3 whole ingredients. Break out your Cookies! Place them all in the food processor or blender and mix until ground. Like so. Melt the butter and marshmallows into a large bowl until puffed. You’ll get a little something like this Working quickly, pour in your ground cookies. Mix, mix and mix You’ll get a gooey mess….that’s delish! Transfer to an 8×8 inch baking pan and let set for about 10 minutes.

Being seven at night and the fact that I live in the middle of nowhere, I used semi-sweet chocolate chips because that’s what I had. If you have fancy- shmancy chocolate feel free to use it, I am sure it would elevate these already fantastic brownies!
If you aren’t familiar with Dulce de Leche it is basically caramel, like caramelized sweetened condensed milk (I can eat it straight out of the can). Line a 8-inch square baking dish with a sheet aluminum foil that covers the bottom up over the sides.

It’s almost as much fun to say as it is to eat, and with the arrival of autumn, I couldn’t stop thinking about taking my usual recipe and kicking it up a notch with the addition of pumpkin – so, of course, I did.
Making monkey bread has always brought with it feelings of nostalgia for me, which makes it one of my favorite sweets to share with family and friends. In fact, the day after I made it, I invited a good friend over so that I could share it with her, along with some apple cider – a lovely way to spend an autumn afternoon, if you ask me! Even though it takes some time to make, most of it is hands-off time – like any yeasted bread, you can leave the dough to rise and go off and do other things while you wait. Make this over the weekend and serve it for breakfast (or brinner, I won’t tell), and share it with a friend! For the dough: For the coating: 1 cup sugar2 tsp cinnamon3/4 stick butter, melted. I strive my hardest to develop recipes to share with you guys that are simple, easy, and most importantly – filled with accessible ingredients that you most likely have on hand. This obviously doesn’t fit that bill… but can you blame me? I have no issue running to the grocery store and spending major bucks to create a recipe to tell you about… however, I just can’t justify dropping a benny at the liquor store for one outlandish drink that I may sip once a year. [And really, while we're in the circle of trust here I will tell you that I searched high and low (read: 5 different liquor stores) for this cake-flavored vodka.
I highly suggest buying the whipped cream vodka because, um… well hello? K. Cake Batter Martinis 1 ounce amaretto. Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Truffles. I’ve never liked chocolate chip cookies. Go ahead and throw tomatoes at me if you’d like, but I don’t like ’em. They’re just a plain old cookie, after all, with a few studs of chocolate chips in them.
They’re nothing special to me, unless you get some cookie dough-action before it meets its fate in the oven. Now you’re talkin’. I’d much rather drown my sorrows in a bowl of cookie dough than nibble a dozen “cookies” dipped in milk. I know there are plenty of cookie-dough-nay-sayers out there… you know, the salmonella scare and all . Chilled dough is rolled into 1-inch balls. Those chilled dough balls are dipped in chocolate and then placed onto waxed paper to set.
