http://blog.femmenoir.org/?m=201007 Long Piddleton, Northants, is one of those bucolic and historic English towns in which most people know each other, perhaps too well for comfort, and life proceeds at a relaxed pace. It is the ancestral home of Melrose Plant, and the adopted home of his annoying aunt by marriage, Agatha (“the albatross his uncle shot down and left to hang around his nephew’s neck”).

King Arthur & The Knights of the Round Table | History, Legend and Everything in Between

The answer is yes, according to Chretien de Troyes. He it was who invented Lancelot and added him to Arthur's court as a Knight of the Round Table. We can point to one man to give us the Lancelot-Guinevere adultery story: Chretien de Troyes.

Danteworlds

Welcome to Danteworlds, an integrated multimedia journey--combining artistic images, textual commentary, and audio recordings--through the three realms of the afterlife (Inferno, Purgatory, Paradise) presented in Dante's Divine Comedy. The site is structured around a visual representation of Dante's worlds: it shows who and what appear where. http://danteworlds.laits.utexas.edu/

My Father's Dragon.

One cold rainy day when my father was a little boy, he met an old alley cat on his street. The cat was very drippy and uncomfortable so my father said, "Wouldn't you like to come home with me?"
About the time I started to think about writing HOPE ROAD, I made a discovery that came as quite a surprise: my uncle John had been an international arms dealer. He died on a flight from Amsterdam in 1984, slumped in the toilet, his throat cut. Funny, isn’t it, how certain things in a family’s past are simply ignored, never talked about, as if everyone agrees that some dark, shared secret must remain unspoken.
