Having heard the rumors early on, and then some posts with names omitted, and finally the recent public acknowledgments of the whole thing I have been watching carefully.

“ Jewel of the Gulf ”, the 2012 Venice Area Quilters Guild 2012 raffle quilt, is an adaptation of Judy Niemeyer’s Tropical Flowers Wall Hanging Pattern from her Pineapple Sensations Series. Judy gave us permission to use this paper pieced design. Using EQ a member enlarged the design to 94x94.
