How to Pay with PayPal Without an Account. I use PayPal a great deal. It’s an easy and convenient way to invoice clients; it is also a great way to pay for my supplies and software needed to complete design projects. Payments received via credit cards or a PayPal account is available instantly, which has significantly increased my turn around time. I am no longer waiting 2 or 3 days for a merchant account to send funds to my bank. The money arrives in my PayPal account as soon as a client sends payment. As awesome as PayPal is, I still have a few clients tell me they have trouble using it. PayPal does allow you the option of paying without a PayPal account. In the screen below you can see the link: “Pay with a debit or credit card or bill me later”.
After clicking this link you will be taken to a page that will allow you to enter all your information along with your credit or debit card information. No the caller seemed surprised so I explained why I give design quotes instead using flat fees.
Why your graphic designer should give you an estimate for your design instead of a flat fee When a potential client calls asking for a design I ask them what their design vision is… sometimes I have them sketch out their design or send me example images that convey the feeling or message they want to communicate to their users. We normally discuss the importance of color psychology, I explain the level of difficulty or ease of the design and then give them an estimate based on the time I think it would take to create their vision.

According to new research appearing in the journal Science, writing about fears of performance anxiety directly before performing can significantly reduce failure due to that anxiety. To arrive at this conclusion, researchers gave 20 students an exam, saying they'd get money for good scores. Half the students were then given several minutes to write down their worries about the test while the other half sat quietly. Five Ways To Improve Online Influence Measures. Regular readers of my posts here and at BrandSavant know that I have, on occasion, raised questions about various measures of online influence. No, they are not perfect, and in some cases are downright meaningless. Lately, though, I’ve been hearing that still, small voice in my head: “Don’t bring me problems, Webster – bring me solutions.” There are some positive aspects of these measures (Klout’s focus on topics of influence comes to mind), and while the easiest stance to take would simply be to dismiss these measures out of hand, I think it’s more productive to (in the words of former President Bill Clinton) “mend it, don’t end it.” With that in mind, here are five ideas, ranging from minor tweaks to major overhauls, for improving online influence measurement. 1.

This year is no different… only this year the delay will affect anyone who: • Files a Schedule A (itemized deductions) • Teachers taking the classroom expense deduction • Parents taking the Higher Education Tuition Deduction • Those who are Repaying their First Time Home Buyers Credit (taken on 2008 return) • Those taking credit for the purchase of an Electric Vehicle The reason for the delay are late tax law changes made by congress in late December that has caused the IRS to reprogram their processing system for accepting paper and electronic tax returns.
Tax filers claiming the above deductions or credits will have to wait until Mid to Late February before their returns can be accepted. This doesn’t mean you should delay filing your return with your Tax Preparer. For the rest of us who don’t claim any of the above, the Tax Season Officially Started January 14th, 2011.
