Detoxing from Radiation, Heavy Metals, Cleansing & Restoring Your Body – Naturally « ByzantineFlowers. Fighting Radiation Exposure – Naturally By: Dr. Loretta Lanphier, ND, CN, HHP, CH (plus) added information by: Yolanda Bertaud With the recent nuclear catastrophe happening in Japan as well as the probability that nuclear events will continue to be a part of our world, it’s prudent to have good reference information as to how the body can be supported (using natural means) and protected should high radiation exposure become a reality. Knowledge and information empower and should always propel one toward effective preparation and planning, not fear. The power of fear is destructive in that it paralyzes resulting in unwise decisions.

Fighting Radiation & Chemical Pollutants with Foods, Herbs, & Vitamins by Steven R. “These foods and food substances will enhance the immune system and protect against the dangerous side effects of radiation.” –Dr. The time to implement these foods is now in order to build up the body as well as the immune system. (NaturalNews) Radioactive fallout from the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster continues to show up at dangerously high levels in the city of Tokyo, which is located roughly 200 miles from the actual disaster site.

Tokyo soil so contaminated with radiation it would be considered nuclear waste in US

According to an analysis of five random soil samples recently taken by nuclear expert Arnie Gundersen, the soil around Tokyo is so contaminated with Fukushima radiation that it would be considered nuclear waste here in the U.S. During a recent trip to Tokyo, Gundersen collected soil samples from a sidewalk, a children's playground, a rooftop, a patch of moss by the side of a road, and the lawn of a judicial building. After sending those samples in for testing, it was revealed that each one had high levels of radioactive cesium-134 (CS134) and cesium-137 (CS137), while three of the samples contained high levels of cobalt-60 (CO60). One of the samples also tested positive for uranium-235 (U235). You can view the complete report here: Sources for this article include: Hanging by a Thread. After writing my essay “Radioactive Hell on Earth”—actually I wanted to change that title to “Fukushima on Steroids”—I see Christina Consolo’s essay “Fukushima is Falling Apart”: Are you ready—it is becoming clear that we, our children and our entire civilization is hanging by a thread.

It is a very sorry thing to report that we have literally shot ourselves in the foot with a big nuclear shotgun full of radioactive particles of the worst conceivable kind. It has taken a year but finally “a U.S. Senator finally got off his ass and went to Japan to see what is going on over there. What he saw was horrific. What Fukushima accident did to the ocean

Fukushima disaster led to largest accidental release of radioactivity into oceanKen Buesseler says the levels detected in the ocean water are not of concern to human healthHe says there is concern that levels of radioactivity in fish are not decreasingBuesseler: Levels that will reach U.S. West Coast in 2013-14 are not high enough to harm humans Editor's note: Ken Buesseler is a Senior Scientist at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution who has studied marine radioactivity since Chernobyl in 1986 and led an international research cruise off Japan in June 2011. (CNN) -- One year ago, a series of events began with an earthquake off the cost of Japan that culminated in the largest accidental release of radioactivity into the ocean in history.

One year later, we have to ask, what do we know about Fukushima's impact on the ocean and levels of radioactive contaminants in water and fish? The Legacy of Fukushima - Dr. Helen Caldicott on GRTV. Truth be told I had larger plans for this dispatch. But with time and resources lacking, I could only scratch the surface of not just the anti-nuke movement, but of the anarchist and activist scene in Japan. So what you see here is nearly a glimpse into the world of the folks who will end nuclear power in Japan for good. . .
