Ainsi, on peut y lire qu’en 2011, plus de 90% des jeunes Québécois ont déjà utilisé les médias sociaux et y passent plus de 8 heures par semaine. L’infographie suivante présente quelques chiffres extraits de cette étude parmi lesquels j’ai retenu particulièrement que plus de 36% des utilisateurs de médias sociaux produisent du contenu (une tendance en forte augmentation) et deviennent ce que l’on appelle des contributeurs actifs. L’évolution de l’usage des réseaux sociaux au Québec est donc dynamique même si le Québec (et le Canada) restent en-deçà des usages que l’on trouve dans les pays émergents.
