From their dramatic poses to their mouth-watering color schemes to their astonishingly detailed surfaces, everything about her “Creatures from El” amazes me. Graduating from college with a degree in anthropology, somewhere along the line she made a sharp right turn into gallery-worthy artwork. She started out working in ceramic, but the pieces I’m picturing here are made from a combination of air-dry clays, including apoxie clay and foam clay, and painted with acrylics. I graduated from Art Center College of Design majoring in Illustration and ever since then it's been a fun ride in this wild entertainment industry. I was born and raised in S.Korea for first 12 years of my life. Having parents with art background, drawing has been a huge part of my life. My parents certainly warned me when I told them this is the career that I want to pursue but I know that I couldn't have come this far without their huge support in every possible ways. Now that I have a family of my own with 3 kids, I'm even more focused to become a better artist than ever. :) So... what I like to do... well, I can certainly say that I like getting my hands on many different things in this business.
