Romney’s House, Hampstead, London 2012 Holy Bush Hill, Hampstead London Listed Grade 1 Romney’s house was originally built by the Georgian portrait painter George Romney in 1789 as a residence and painting studio. Situated at the top of the steep hill of Hampstead Village it was called Prospect House for its impressive panoramic views of Central London. Following Romney’s death the house was used for a variety of purposes. A new staircase tower is added to the south, stitching together the house’s varied levels. Original spaces have been recovered from multiple alterations while new ones have been created inside and outside the house.

London studio Daytrip have installed rubber display stands and a padded cell at this Hong Kong shop for fashion designer Gareth Pugh.
An LED display shows Pugh's movie collaborations with artist Ruth Hogben, reflected endlessly in mirrored glass covering the other walls. Garments are hung in rubber-lined recesses while accessories sit atop rubber-covered light boxes. The changing room is covered in grey triangular padded-leather tiles. The space is designed to showcase Gareth’s creations in a black-mirrored cube.
Whilst Pugh’s creations are visually showcased across the space, his clothes hang in rubber lined edge lit recessed areas and his leather accessories sit on chamfered rubber light-boxes located centrally in the space.
