Activities revolve around exploring what the LEGO® MINDSTORMS® Robot can do. We learn about input sensors (sound, touch, ultrasonic, temperature, etc.) and output devices (servomotors and lights) and a whole lot more!. We utilize curricula which stimulates students to learn in a fun hands-on environment. Students often learn in teams of two, teamwork is an added benefit of our Robotics courses and camps. The Robotics Exhibition focuses on the History of Robotics and features many distinctive robot and exhibits. Some are models and creation that have made great industrial contributions, while others are robot toys, which have delighted and triggered the imagination of the young. The Robotics Learning Laboratories feature the LEGO MINDSTORMS kit as an interactive learning tool. The lesson set-up trains children to be team players and problem solvers and also aims to spark their creativity and resourcefulness.
The laboratories are equipped with the components for children to build robots.
