How to Design a Beautiful iPad Lesson:

What I really like about this series of activities is that it allows the students or in Rob's case his teachers to articulate their own learning. It is never about a single app. It is the combination of apps that allow the learners to meet the learning outcomes. It is a great example of building a meaningful lesson around a concept and then providing the students with the tools to create content. The other great thing about this lesson is the beautifully designed yet simple instructions built by Rob.

LogMeIn Remote Access App

The app has recently had its name changed and has become a free app – it was previously a $30 app. There are a number of very good remote access apps for the iPad, but I think LogMeIn is the best of a very good bunch. The free app does not offer all of the powerful features of LogMeIn, but probably offers enough for most users. Here’s the rundown on what the free app provides and then the full set of features available to those who do an In-App purchase to upgrade to LogMeIn Pro for $39.99.
