As previously stated, I had to uninstall all hp button & tablet related software (2 different apps installed for the tablet drivers). Rebooted, then installed sp44664, then sp44777. I now have a working quick launch button app, with no software errors about compatibility, but the Q button didn't work. After much poking around, I found the option on 'tablet pc settings' on the now-working 'quick launch menu'. On the tab labeled buttons, there is a section that maps the buttons to the app. Hope this helps someone else.
