Every day this month I will posting tutorials and features – all mini quilt related. To kick start mini quilt month – I want to point to a whole bunch of free online tutorials to help you make your own mini quilt. handmade by alissa – she made these placemats for a present – they are so cool – whipup featured a tutorial by weeks ringle a few years back [ pt1 + pt2 ] on how to make something similar – but basically they are mini-quilts – love them. Also try your hand at making this doll quilt – the tutorial is in a four parts at sew mama sew and this sew mama sew mini quilt uses an interesting method + Elizabeth’s advent calendar quilt was truly inspiring. I really like this free-style mini quilt – lots of overlapping scraps and free-motion stitching. I liked this embroidered alphabet quilt when we first featured in a while back.
