Microsoft Teams Team collaboration application Microsoft Teams is a team collaboration application developed by Microsoft as part of the Microsoft 365 family of products, offering workspace chat and video conferencing, file storage, and integration of proprietary and third-party applications and services.[11] Teams replaced other Microsoft-operated business messaging and collaboration platforms, including Skype for Business and Microsoft Classroom. As of January 2023[update], it had around 280 million monthly users.[13] In May 2017, Microsoft announced Teams would replace Microsoft Classroom in Office 365 Education.[24][25] On July 12, 2018, Microsoft announced a free version of Teams, offering most of the platform's communication options for no charge, but limiting the number of users and team file storage capacity.[26][27] In January 2019, Microsoft released an update targeting "Firstline Workers" in order to improve the interoperability of Teams between different computers for retail workers.[28][29]

¿Usar las TIC sin recursos? En una de las encuestas que periódicamente hemos realizado desde la Red de Buenas PrácTICas 2.0 os consultamos por el elemento más importante para integrar TIC las aulas. Vuestra respuesta fue clara, la integración es sobre todo una cuestión metodológica, por encima de otros aspectos, como puede ser la formación o los recursos. Y es cierto que sin una adecuada metodología cualquier intento de llevar las TIC a la práctica docente puede terminar en fracaso. Ahora bien, no es menos cierto que para que esta incorporación sea fructífera se necesita un mínimo de equipamientos que hagan posible poder optar por una opción metodológica concreta.
