2005 Jeep Hurricane_Concept Pictures, Specifications, and Information Show-stopping concepts and extreme expressions of the Chrysler Group brands aren"t new: Dodge had its Tomahawk and Chrysler, the ME Four-Twelve. But when the Jeep® Hurricane blew onto the 2005 North American International Auto Show stage, it raised the bar for the Jeep brand. "Jeep Hurricane is simply the most maneuverable, most capable and most powerful 4x4 ever built," said Trevor Creed, Senior Vice President - Chrysler Group Design. "It pays homage to the extreme enthusiasts" Jeep vehicles in form and off-road capability, but is a unique interpretation of Jeep design. Hurricane represents the continued success of bold concept vehicles for the brands as a means of demonstrating Chrysler Group's creative and mechanical expertise. Can you have responsible excess? The power is delivered through a central transfer case and split axles with a mechanically controlled four-wheel torque distribution system. GM Opens a New Window on Entertainment | Autopia Anyone who’s driven through a god-forsaken wasteland like, say, west Texas with young children has glimpsed a corner of hell. The road is long and the scenery boring, a combination that can have your kids pushing you to the limits of sanity. General Motors wants to help you out with that. The automaker asked the dreamers and designers at Future Lab at Israel’s Bezalel Academy of Art and Design to develop a futuristic suite of apps that effectively turn car windows into a tablet. Yes, yes, we know. The General’s Windows of Opportunity Project was inspired by psychological studies that found passengers often feel disconnected from their environment. “Traditionally, the use of interactive displays in cars has been limited to the driver and front passenger, but we see an opportunity to provide a technology interface designed specifically for rear seat passengers,” Tom Seder, who leads GM’s human-machine interface R&D team, said in a statement. This is not so far-fetched as you might think.

Lamborghini Madura by Slavche Tanevski One Sharp Black Lambo From the darkest depths of the design mind of the one called Slavche Tanevski comes THIS! The Lamborghini *Ankonian. It’s black. It’s sharp. And I don’t mean flashy in any kind of bad way. It’s not quite “green,” but it’s does have that sort of environmental friendliness in mind with it’s downsisedness. + Does this car look familiar to anyone? *NOTE from Chris Burns: originally I’d had this car marked “Madura”, when in fact it is called the Ankonian. Designer: Slavche Tanevski
