Wikidata. Collatinus-web - Online lemmatiser and morphological analyser for Latin texts | Biblissima Toolkit. Online version of Collatinus, a multi-OS application to lemmatise and analyse the morphology of Latin texts. This online version is based on version 11.2 of Collatinus. Its lexical database has been extended with the systematic treatment of the digital dictionaries (Gaffiot 2016, Jeanneau 2017, Lewis & Short 1879 and Georges 1913). The lexical base now contains more than 80.000 lemmas. Due to lack of space on a web-page, the features of Collatinus 11 are not all available. For intensive use, we recommend the installation of the stand-alone version of Collatinus, which is available for Windows, MacOS and Linux/Debian. This application has been made available with no guarantee and may be subject to further corrections and improvements. Credits Collatinus web is developed by Yves Ouvrard, with the support of Philippe Verkerk and Régis Robineau.

Ancient Itineraries | King's College London. The Ancient Itineraries programme, funded by the Getty Foundation as part of its Digital Art History initiative, sought to explore both senses of “Digital” as it applies to art history. The programme took the form of two meetings of researchers, academics and practitioners which brought together a very broad array of expertise. The first meeting was held at King’s College London, and the other at the Swedish Institute in Athens. You can read more about the activities, meetings and visits of both gatherings: When applied to a field of research, the prefix “Digital” can mean different things. Digital methods have become increasingly important to the fields of Art History and Classical Archaeology in recent years. The aim of the Ancient Itineraries programme was to map out the future of three key methodological topics in relation to the digital art history of the Classical world: provenance, geographies and visualization.

The INSCRIBE 3D Interactive Web Viewer is a WebGL 3D viewer based on 3DHOP (3D Heritage Online Presenter) [1] for basic 3D visualization and on the Cuneiform-WebGLViewer [2] for enhancing the legibility of signs by means of radiance scaling [3]. Both the frameworks employ the nexus [4] 3D format. The INSCRIBE 3D Interactive Web Viewer was also inspired by the Digital Epigraphy Toolbox [5] for the management of metadata information of the 3D models. Features (under construction): On-line 3D model database of inscriptions, 3D rotation, zoom in/out, change lighting orientation, possibilty to cut sections and perform measurements on the 3D models, radiance scaling Tutorial: www.youtube.com/watch? Amici Populi Romani — Dr. Altay Coskun. Prosopography of the Foreign Friends of the Romans (3rd Century BCE–4th Century CE) Interpersonal ‘friendship’ relations played a major role in the establishment and development of the Roman Empire: its power was not solely based on its military prowess, but also on the loyalty and voluntary support of external kings or elites, who often held the official rank of amici populi Romani. The main targets for inclusion into the APR collection are all individuals outside of Italy that were made friends of the Romans either on the official level or less formally with an individual Roman aristocrat.

Some female dynasts are also listed, either by virtue of their own status as amicae, or, more often, to clarify genealogical uncertainties of their more prominent male counterparts. In the same vein, other close relatives who are known to have played important roles are included as well. Tesserae. Pleiades.stoa.org. MANTO — MYTHLAB.
