Turnstyle Vogue Design & Styling: DIY: Another Bottle Makeover. Good morning! Remember this glass bottle makeover I did about a month ago? Well little did I know it would be such a hit. It is by far the most popular post of all-Turnstyle-Vogue-time. Crazy. The funny thing is that it was simply a keep-me-busy project while I waited for a coat of paint to finish drying on a hutch I was painting. And I almost didn’t blog about it. Hmmm… Was it too easy or did I surprise you? I played around with a few of them – again while I was playing another waiting game in the shop – and came up with a faux purple milk glass, a vintage pewter and a modern chrome. To get the look of milk glass, I simply poured latex paint into the inside and tilted/turned/twisted until there was complete coverage. For the pewter, I first did a coat of chalk paint in Provence and then sprayed chrome paint on it. The pewter is definitely my favorite.

This next one was simply sprayed with the chrome paint and left alone. Be inspired, Linking to: MONDAY Cowgirl Up! Watch TV Online - Stream New Movies & TV Shows - DIRECTV.
