Promising evidence (Tier 3) An IES-funded study of Montessori preschool found positive effects on cognitive and phonics outcomes. A study of Super Solvers found positive effects on numbers and operations outcomes. Studies of (1) First Step Next and homeBase, (2) Disc ‘O’ Sit cushion, and (3) daily report cards found positive effects on student behavior outcomes.
