Steering and Planning Committees The Steering Committee sets forth the policy and priorities to be represented in the framework, and its members will draw upon their widespread perspectives and expertise. It comprises experts in educational technology and technology education, including scientists, engineers, employers, policymakers, and members of the general public. The Planning Committee has the primary responsibility for developing the technological literacy framework and test specifications, following the guidelines set forth by the Steering Committee. It comprises technological literacy educators, educational technology experts, assessment experts, scientists, engineers, and teachers from public and private schools.
