ACS Owner Jane Wilde will facilitate a Google Hangout this month on the topic Minecraft in the classroom. The session will include a panel of Vermont educators who are currently or making plans to use the game Minecraft as a platform for teaching. Minecraft is a game played by 13 million people world wide. Some call it a video version of lego because of its look - low quality "blocky" graphics - and its users' ability to build with lego like blocks. Educators are taking up the game because of its adaptability to many curricular areas. Absolute Computing Vermont - Administration.
