Music is an art form whose medium is sound and silence. Its common elements are pitch (which governs melody and harmony ), rhythm (and its associated concepts tempo , meter , and articulation ), dynamics , and the sonic qualities of timbre and texture . The word derives from Greek μουσική ( mousike ; "art of the Muses "). [ 1 ]
A tool is any physical item that can be used to achieve a goal , especially if the item is not consumed in the process. Informally the word is also used to describe a procedure or process with a specific purpose. Tool use by humans dates back millions of years, and other animals are also known to employ simple tools. Tools that are used in particular fields or activities may have different designations such as "instrument", "utensil", "implement", "machine", or "apparatus".
