I first covered ClassConnect last fall, as the startup was part of the ImagineK12 education incubator program. ClassConnect founder Eric Simons has gone back to the drawing board with the latest version of his startup's product, scrapping the LMS features (yay!) And focusing instead on lesson-building and lesson-sharing. The new ClassConnect is a little bit like Dropbox and little bit like GitHub. That is, it's a little bit of file-sharing and a little bit of forking. The former is probably a fairly self-explanatory idea: upload, store, download, bookmark, and share files. Create.
