5 Film-School Violations in Videogame Cut-Scenes | GameLife | Wired.com
Videogame storytelling has made some astounding leaps over the past few years. Powerful narratives like Red Dead Redemption and Uncharted 2 have helped show the world that games can be just as meaningful as any other form of art. But there's one element of interactive storytelling that designers just can't seem to get right: the cut-scene . Some exceptions exist, but these control-free cinematic sequences often prove uncomfortable if not downright embarrassing to watch. While they are almost always packed with gorgeous eye caramel, games' cut-scenes usually drop the ball when it comes to effective storytelling.Для того, чтобы сохранить игру, выделите текст (ctrl-a) и скопируйте его в текстовый файл (ctrl-c/ctrl-v для пользователей Windows). 04/29/2012 Stockpiles can now be set to give items to multiple stockpiles. You can also set stockpiles to give to a workshop, in which case the workshop will only use items from its piles. You can use this to set specific materials for jobs in a roundabout way, for example, until we get around to doing that properly. If a stockpile is set to distribute the same kind of objects to multiple piles, it'll try to keep the piles even.

Moderator Comment: This excellent walkthrough is the work of forum member kburra ( thanks! ) Use it to help get a new perspective on the puzzles, but keep in mind that the only "official walkthoughs" are already built into the game. ( and reproduced for you here in the Machinarium WALKTHROUGH thread ) If you get confused, remember to go back to those pictorial walkthoughs for clarification. ~Alex Machinarium WALKTHROUGH Please note I don't take full credit for this Walkthrough as I found much of it surfing the Net, and added some stuff myself, so credit to original posters also. -kburra

I think I'm going to go ahead and make the 1.2 build the main build after I play with it more tonight... I have gone up to a build of Wine 1.3.1 and its been running fine for me with no crashes, and I found out my old beta5 i uploaded the wrong one and it was actually Wine 1.3.0 and not the custom 1.1.44 build I thought it was.... Most of my time has been spent overhauling Wineskin.

Dear Esther | December 1, 2011 | First of all, let me apologise for the lack of updates over the past few months, things have been rather insane here lately to say the least. Back in October, whilst still battling through a mountain of bugs, I decided it would be a good idea for us to enter DE into next year’s IGF.Metal Gear Solid 4 Full play-through This is my Metal Gear Solid 4 playthrough of the whole game on Solid Normal difficulty. Including complete cutscenes and gameplay from beginning to end minus game installations. All my vids were encoded in Xvid 640x480 @ 29fps (newer vids go up to 60fps!) so if you download the original file you'll get a much better viewing experience.
