Street photography is in fact a report. It can also be a memorial snapshot, or one taken straight from a family album. The exhibition shall present works of such well-known authors as: Christophe Agou, Narelle Autio, Maciej Dakowicz, David Gibson, Bruce Gilden, Thierry Girard, Andrew Z. The exhibition of more than 30 world’s best street photographers – selected by Sophie Howarth and Stephen McLaren, authors of an album on street photography – shall be accompanied by a presentation of works by Polish photographers.

Sam Dobson, photographe russe, découvre un arc en ciel blanc au Pôle Nord. Vous pensez qu’un arc-en-ciel ne peut être que multicolore ? Pas forcément, et c’est ce que Sam Dobson, photographe russe en expédition au Pôle Nord, nous démontre avec une photo d’arc-en-ciel blanc. Cette photo a été prise vers minuit non loin du Pôle Nord à partir du brise-glace 50 years of Victory.
Sam Dobson, photographe amateur (sa galerie sur 500px), a déclaré qu’il se sentait « privilégié de faire partie de cette expédition et d’être le témoin d’une chose que très peu de gens peuvent affirmer avoir vu de leurs yeux ». Pourquoi un arc en ciel blanc ? Nous ne sommes pas des scientifiques, mais il semblerait que les arcs-en-ciel blancs existent si ce dernier est présent dans un voile de brouillard.
A cause des fines gouttes d’eau présentes dans ce brouillard, la lumière ne s’y décompose pas comme pour un arc-en-ciel traditionnel, et l’arc apparaît donc avec une couleur blanchâtre.
