Stop being so sensitive about it, its not like people are saying gay people are bad, they use the word gay as a means to convey that something is not the same as it normally would be and therefore is something to be avoided. Some people are just afraid of change and/or differences between people. I think you might want to look up what the word "ignorant" means. While you're at it you might also want to look up the word "self-righteous" I've had a PB, Banana, and bacon sandwich before and it was pretty good. I ordered it a sandwich shop in NY called Peanut Butter and Co.This site is a little project that lets me make fun of some things and sense of others. I use it to think a little more relationally without resorting to doing actual math.

When I was eight, my best friend was an Asian kid named Martin. Martin’s parents had immigrated when he was five or so, and they were deeply traditional. They also adored me, and I loved spending time at Martin’s house because his mother seemed to cook sprawling, sumptuous feasts every night. It was like each evening they were celebrating Mulan’s defeat over Shan Yu. Whenever I’d visit, his mother would stuff me full of steamy, savory morsels, as if I myself were being shipped off to war.

Hyperbole and a Half
Some people have a legitimate reason to feel depressed, but not me. I just woke up one day feeling sad and helpless for absolutely no reason. It's disappointing to feel sad for no reason.
