What is responsive design? Most people vaguely understand that it refers to websites that work just as well on desktops as they do on smartphones, but there's a lot more to it than that, leading to widespread confusion (heck, I'll admit, I've even been known to misuse it myself, even after fellow Co.Design writer John Pavlus called me a dummy for it). En mayor o mnor medida, a muchos nos gusta hacer listas, llevar agendas, anotar cosas (ya sea online, en una app o en papel), en definitiva, organizar un poco mejor tu vida. Finally, how many of these past clients should have never been signed in the first place? There can be a costly fallout. This should never happen. Responsive CSS3 / HTML5 Video Background In div No Javascript Needed! Updated on Aug. 4th, 2013 HTML5 Video Ugh! I needed a HTML5 video background to appear in a <div> ... on my web page. I am going to cover more than just how to apply some code to your page in this tutorial. I found this awesome little piece of open source goodness called “Miro Video Converter”. Being that I got ahead of myself a little bit there, let’s get back on track. Assuming you found your video, you’re going to need to convert it to THREE different filetypes: .mp4 .ogv .webm …two of which I am extremely unfamiliar with (webm/ogv) but that fancy Miro Video Converter handled converting my .MOV file to the above mentioned filetypes. Let’s go ahead and upload the THREE video filetypes to your server at a destination of your choice. NOW… we need to do some HTML coding and CSS styling to make this happen. Open up your CSS file and add the following code at the bottom: the class “.header-unit” is only there for the purpose of showing you the div class in which I wish to contain the video.

Facebook takes a run at Google’s dominance in search introducing facebook search In the last few months, Facebook has been in news, whether it was for its “Like-Gating” or Facebook minimizing its news feed. Now, Facebook has come up with a new tactic to come in to notice once again. This time, Facebook has a new plan of expanding its searching options. Think of a picture you saw on Facebook last month. When compared to Google, Facebook search has a low rate of search result-providing. When Google Plus was launched three years ago, it made a promise to its users that Google would turn all your online social interactions in to an easy-to-search repository. Recently, Google’s internal search has begun to slow and this is where Facebook search, jumps in. If everything goes well with this new upgrade that Facebook search tends to launch soon, then more of the users would be inclined to it rather than running towards Google. Your feedback is appreciable. The following two tabs change content below. Comments comments
