Test des livres photo de Saal Digital Il existe un nombre incalculable de services en ligne permettant de réaliser son livre photo. Après avoir testé le livre ProLine de Blurb, nous nous sommes intéressés à un autre acteur : Saal Digital. Peu connu du grand public, Saal Digital est pourtant un imprimeur qui ressort souvent dans des discussions sur les livres photo. Note : c’est la première fois que je réalise un livre photo, ce test est donc un bon moyen d’avoir l’avis d’un « débutant » sur la question. Pour tester le livre photo de Saal Digital, j’ai utilisé les photos de mon voyage en Islande en 2014. Réparez la colorimétrie défaillante (?) de vos... Nikon - photoetmac.com Cela fait plus de 10 ans que j’explique à qui veut l’entendre, que les choix colorimétriques de Nikon sont assez discutables : que leur « bleu du ciel » n’est pas assez « cyan » comme il devrait être… mais presque « bleu outremer » : presque « violet » ! Bref, les couleurs qui sortent des Nikon en JPEG : ça « ne me va pas du tout »… C’est peut-être une question personnelle et je conçois que vous pouvez préférer le bleu outremer pour vos ciel par grand beau temps… Mais je sais aussi que je ne suis pas le seul à rechercher un bleu : disons « plus réaliste »… Car le bleu du ciel devrait être vraiment bleu en temps normal, pas bleu violet… Alors que je n’ai aucun problème avec les JPEG qui sortent directement des Canon en style d’image standard, ni avec les JPEG produits par les Fuji en mode Astia ou Provia. Précisons toutefois, que parfois je trouve certains bleu Olympus trop « cyans » (à l’inverse des Nikon)… C’est que j’ai toujours été assez sensible aux nuances de couleurs. Alors ?

Now photographer Andreas Franke has created a similar mythical underwater world for a new exhibition - but you can only see it with your scuba gear on. Armed with his camera, Mr Franke dove down to the Vandenberg, a United States missile tracking ship that sunk in 2009 off the coast of Key West, Florida, and used the spectacular images he took as a canvas for a surreal civilisation that never existed. J’y repensais justement aujourd’hui, car j’ai justement un joli Macbook 12″ à vendre (SSD de 512 Go – écrivez-moi s’il vous tente) et récemment j’ai du y faire du ménage afin de grapiller quelques Go. Alors certes : il y a beaucoup d’autres façons de récupérer de la place (et bien davantage de place) sur un disque SSD un peu étroit : on en reparlera peut-être un jour… Mais cette méthode que je vous présente aujourd’hui est complémentaire et intéressante : car elle permettra aussi de diminuer un peu le temps que Lightroom mettra (ensuite) à sauvegarder et optimiser à chaque fois votre catalogue… Ce que vous devrez faire régulièrement (au moins après chaque session travail sérieuse.
