Rosemary Focaccia Bread There might not be a smell I love in the world more than fresh rosemary! I started my own little herb garden and the first herb I bought was rosemary, not even for its culinary use but merely so I could go outside every morning and smell it! Fortunately on Saturday I was able to use it for both purposes in this amazing freshly baked bread! Ingredients (makes 2 loaves) How to Make Easy Homemade Pita Bread Cooking Lessons from The Kitchn Whether we're talking falafel or deli ham, pockets of pita bread are one of my top choices for sandwiches. So portable! So neatly contained! So easy to eat!

Oreo Cookies Made From Scratch – Just Like the Ones From the Box, Only Better Oreo cookies seem to be pervasive in this country. Oreo cookies showed up at every party while I was growing up, and they are still used in countless desserts. My personal favorite is Oreo cheesecake (not to slight my Oreo cupcakes). Oreo cheesecake was in the dessert cycle in our cafeteria on Semester at Sea and I just couldn’t resist it! I’ve always liked the Oreo, but since I could read and understand product labels, I’ve never been a fan of their ingredients. For this month’s Taste & Create, I was again paired with Heaven is Chocolate, Cheese, and Carbs. Soft Pretzel Bites with Cheese Sauce I am a complete sucker for mall pretzels. And it’s a darn good thing that you’ll only find me at the mall once or twice a year because more trips would like equal more pretzels. And as much as I love them, I’ve only made them once before, admittedly to great success but since Kyle isn’t a huge fan (crazy boy), I haven’t made them again. But in all the years since I first made them, there’s been one recipe I’ve been saving and I finally decided to bust it out just in time to share it with you while you’re all getting crazy planning your Super Bowl (or maybe anti-Super Bowl?)

Braided Spaghetti Bread » The official blog of America's favorite frozen dough We are carb lovers at our house, so when I saw the Braided Spaghetti Bread recipe in the Rhodes Home Baked Family Favorites with frozen dough cookbook I knew we would love it. This is a really simple recipe; it just takes a little planning for thawing the dough. It will take 2-3 hours for the bread loaf to thaw to room temperature or 1-2 hours for the rolls to thaw to room temperature. You will need: 1 Loaf Rhodes Bread Dough or 12 Rhodes Dinner Rolls, thawed to room temperature6 oz spaghetti, cooked 1 cup thick spaghetti sauce 8 oz mozzarella cheese, cut into 1/2 –inch cubes 1 egg white Parmesan cheese Parsley flakes Spray counter lightly with non-stick cooking spray (or use parchment paper).

Ginger-Peach Oat Muffins Just as I was pulling these fluffy, steamy, Ginger-Peach Oat Muffins out of the oven this morning, the fire alarm in our building went off. Not the annoying little squeaky smoke detector in our kitchen, but like the building-wide, hurts your ears, cats-run-under-the-bed blasting loud fire alarm. It sounded like a screeching fork over a chalkboard times a million... Perfect pairing: matcha latte. One Hour Rolls This recipe has been my go-to recipe for rolls for the last eleven years!. They are great and they only take an hour! I posted this recipe a few years ago here, but thought the rolls deserved a post just for themselves. Here's what you'll need. I buy pretty much all of the ingredients in this recipe at Sam's club, thus the huge containers.
