Il timelapse che cattura 75 ore di illustrazioni di Parigi 75 ore del meticoloso processo illustrativo di Guillaume Cornet sono state condensate in soli due minuti nel nuovo e colorato timelapse in stop-motion di Society6. Il video mostra il dietro-le-quinte della creazione di Parisian Neighborhood, una giocosa e dettagliata reinterpretazione della capitale francese. Per 55 ore, Cornet si è dato da fare con la sua penna a punta fine su una tela 70 x 50; l'artista ha poi serigrafato il disegno in dieci copie, che ha poi colorato a mano in altre 15-20 ore. Claire Bretécher ha 75 anni Claire Bretécher è una disegnatrice e fumettista francese nata a Nantes 17 aprile del 1940: oggi compie 75 anni. Ha raccontato la spocchia della generazione del Sessantotto, ha deriso il conformismo dell’anticonformismo, ha trasformato Santa Teresa d’Avila in una femminista, ha criticato in modo feroce la borghesia di Parigi e, nel 1976, è stata definita dall’intellettuale e filosofo Roland Barthes «il migliore sociologo francese» (qualcun altro parla di lei come di una specie di Woody Allen, ma francese e donna). Bretécher è stata anche, e per molto tempo, la prima donna a fare quel mestiere in un mondo in cui erano tutti uomini («Non mi è mai pesato anche se dovrei dire il contrario, conviene sempre passare per martire»). Dopo aver insegnato disegno per un breve periodo, all’inizio degli anni Sessanta Claire Bretécher ha iniziato a collaborare con René Goscinny (quello di Asterix, Lucky Luke e dei racconti per bambini “Le petit Nicolas”).

It was also the first time I took LSD. I was 13 years old. At the time, it was the coolest thing I had ever done. Succede per le strade di Cremona, durante la nuova edizione della rassegna Affiche. Ha da poco inaugurato il quarto appuntamento annuale con Affiche, la mostra a cielo aperto ospitata a Cremona negli spazi normalmente riservati alle affissioni. Organizzata da Tapirulan in collaborazione con il Comune e la Provincia, l’iniziativa vede protagonista quest’anno Jean Jullien, noto illustratore internazionale. Dopo Alessandro Gottardo, Olimpia Zagnoli e Riccardo Guasco, spetta a lui occupare le aree di affissione pubblicitaria o elettorale della città con le sue opere, solitamente pubblicate su supporti stampati tradizionali come riviste e libri. Il pubblico potrà percorrere i circa 20 chilometri attraverso i quali si snodano le illustrazioni/affiche di Jullien lasciandosi piacevolmente sorprendere dalla loro presenza, o seguendo una mappa fornita dagli organizzatori.
