Imprimir el mundo ¿En qué consiste la impresión en tres dimensiones y cuál ha sido su recorrido hasta la actualidad? ¿Qué capacidad transformadora tiene esta tecnología en los procesos productivos, en la relación del individuo con los objetos y en la sociedad en general? ¿Qué tipo de objetos impresos podemos encontrar en estos momentos y en qué ámbitos se utilizan? ¿Hasta dónde puede llegar el uso de impresoras 3D? Estas y otras cuestiones se abordan en 3D. La exposición se organiza en cuatro grandes bloques temáticos: Del bit al átomo; Por el espejo retrovisor; La huella tridimensional y Un paso más allá. Además de objetos, la muestra se completará con una serie de visualizaciones y audiovisuales, entre los que destacan entrevistas a profesionales de perfiles tan dispares como la bioingeniería, el diseño, la filosofía, la robótica o el movimiento maker.

Florence street sign art by Clet | Visit Tuscany I finally discovered the author of these marvelous artistic street signs that I have been seeing around Florence: they are by Clet Abraham. A black silhouette sneakily carrying away the no-entry bar is what first caught my eye; later I also saw the crucified Christ on the dead-end sign. Clever, I thought, and made a mental note to photograph them and post them on this blog. The joys of facebook: someone in my vast network "liked" the fan page of the artist Clet which has as its logo the no-entry sign. The silhouette man street signs have been popping up around the city for a few months now. My street sign work stem from a reflection upon our “common visual space”. We are, in this city, constantly accosted by other “additive” symbols, from guerrilla stickering to tagging and graffiti. I’m not sure exactly what the fundamental difference is between a graffiti artist and my work. See you soon again, Clet!

El físico belga del siglo XIX, Joseph Plateau, fue quien inventó este instrumento basándose en la persistencia de la retina. Al que se le llama frecuentemente “rueda de animación”. El fenaquistiscopio contiene, pues, en esencia, el principio fundamental del cine. Consiste en varios dibujos de un mismo objeto, en posiciones ligeramente diferentes distribuidos por una placa circular lisa, , la imagen animada aparece entonces detrás de la rendija Cuando esa placa se hace girar frente a un espejo, se crea la ilusión de una imagen en movimiento. 2. - Lograr la ilusión de un movimiento continuo. - Conocer mejor los origenes del cine. 3.
