Weka 3 - Data Mining with Open Source Machine Learning Software in Java

Weka is a collection of machine learning algorithms for data mining tasks. It contains tools for data preparation, classification, regression, clustering, association rules mining, and visualization. Found only on the islands of New Zealand, the Weka is a flightless bird with an inquisitive nature. The name is pronounced like this, and the bird sounds like this. Weka is open source software issued under the GNU General Public License. We have put together several free online courses that teach machine learning and data mining using Weka. Weka supports deep learning!

Tangle: a JavaScript library for reactive documents Tangle is a JavaScript library for creating reactive documents. Your readers can interactively explore possibilities, play with parameters, and see the document update immediately. Tangle is super-simple and easy to learn. JHepWork jHepWork is an attempt to create a data-analysis environment using open-source packages with a coherent user interface and tools competitive to commercial programs. The idea behind the project is to incorporate open-source mathematical and numerical software packages with GUI-type of user interfaces into a coherent program in which the main user interface is based on short-named Java/Python classes. This was required to build an analysis environment using Java scripting concept. A typical example will be shown below.

PyNGL and PyNIO Introduction This is the place to start if you are new to PyNGL and PyNIO. PyNGL (pronounced "pingle") is a Python language module used to visualize scientific data, with an emphasis on high quality 2D visualizations. Crossfilter Fast Multidimensional Filtering for Coordinated Views Crossfilter is a JavaScript library for exploring large multivariate datasets in the browser. Crossfilter supports extremely fast (<30ms) interaction with coordinated views, even with datasets containing a million or more records; we built it to power analytics for Square Register, allowing merchants to slice and dice their payment history fluidly. Since most interactions only involve a single dimension, and then only small adjustments are made to the filter values, incremental filtering and reducing is significantly faster than starting from scratch.

RapidMiner RapidMiner is a software platform developed by the company of the same name that provides an integrated environment for machine learning, data mining, text mining, predictive analytics and business analytics. It is used for business and industrial applications as well as for research, education, training, rapid prototyping, and application development and supports all steps of the data mining process including results visualization, validation and optimization.[1] RapidMiner is developed on a business source model which means only the previous version of the software is available under an OSI-certified open source license on Sourceforge.[2] A Starter Edition is available for free download, a Personal Edition is offered for US$999, a Professional Edition is $2,999 and pricing for the Enterprise Edition is available from the developer.[3] History[edit] Description[edit] RapidMiner uses a client/server model with the server offered as Software as a Service or on cloud infrastructures.[7]

It allows users to view multiple variables interactively and compare statistics across regions (states, counties, registries, hospitals) as well as across time. It supports six types of graph: bar graphs; box plots; raw data tables; point graphs; point graphs with arrow; and point graphs with confidence intervals.
