Daily 5 Part 2- mini lessons Yesterday I posted an overview about how I run Daily 5 in my classroom. I also forgot to say yesterday that Daily 5 is the most amazing thing ever. I've never seen students so engaged and quiet. It's my favorite part of the day and theirs too! Today I will talk more about what I do during my mini lesson portion. Daily 5 Happy Hump Day friends! We have officially made it through three days with our little people, and we are STILL tired! Man these kiddos have some energy! Our classes are as big as they've ever been this year, and we both have 28 first graders! We continue to teach, model, practice and teach again. We've done some really fun stuff so far, and will share some of that later.
