Home HarrisPoll - The Harris Poll Søgsmart visar vägen i Danmark – Omvärldsbloggen Hösten 2014 trädde reformen av den danska grundskolan i kraft och samtidigt infördes en ny läroplan. Målet med reformen är att skolan ska bli bättre på att hjälpa eleverna att utveckla de förmågor som är nödvändiga i ett globalt och digitalt samhälle. Det innebär bland annat att undervisningen blir mer inriktad på ett undersökande, skapande och samarbetsinriktat lärande, där eleverna hjälper varandra att lära och utvecklas. Skolan ska också sträva efter att samverka med andra delar av samhället. Den nya läroplanen rymmer tre tvärgående teman som ska ingå i all ämnesundervisning: innovation och entreprenörskap, it och digitala medier samt språklig och kommunikativ utveckling. Ett av målen i temat it och medier är att eleverna ska lära sig att undersöka världen på kritiskt sätt. Det är också nödvändigt att eleverna lär sig att referera och citera sina källor, så att det är möjligt för andra att verifiera att informationen stämmer.

From these, 16 key indicators are highlighted to provide a snapshot of progress. The Global Strategy portal provides open access to the latest available data and estimates for the 60 indicators across 194 countries. The Economic and Social Council, in its resolution 1984/48 of 25 May 1984, requested that the Secretary-General maintain and develop the United Nations crime-related database by continuing to conduct surveys of crime trends and the operations of criminal justice systems. The major goal of the United Nations Surveys on Crime Trends and the Operations of Criminal Justice Systems is to collect data on the incidence of reported crime and the operations of criminal justice systems with a view to improving the analysis and dissemination of that information globally. The survey results provide an overview of trends and interrelationships between various parts of the criminal justice system to promote informed decision-making in administration, nationally and internationally. Simple, Effective Search Challenge Lessons One of my favorite ways to reinforce the use of good search strategies to students is to show interesting pictures and have students try to make a long list of questions about what they see. Then I let the students try to find the answers to those questions. When they get stuck, I intervene to remind them of one of the search strategies that they have been taught. (Google's search education page has great lesson plans for teaching core search strategies). Creating image-based search challenges: 1. My "Big Truck" example: Some of the most common questions that are asked when I show this picture to students or adults. All four of the questions above can be answered by using various search strategies and tools.

”Svenska elever måste få bättre utbildning i källkritik” Demokrati. Skolinspektionens granskning visar att elevernas förmåga att värdera källor brister. Lärarna har en nyckelroll, men var fjärde lärare i grundskolan arbetar inte alls med elevernas förmåga att källkritiskt granska information på internet, skriver Mikael Halápi, Skolverket, Helena Lindberg, MSB, och Ewa Thorslund, Statens medieråd. Aldrig tidigare har det varit så angeläget att eleverna får goda kunskaper i källkritik som nu. Den svenska skolans demokratiuppdrag slås fast i både skollagen och läroplanerna. Utvecklingen på internet och i sociala medier innebär att behovet av kunskap om källkritik aldrig varit större än i dag. Sociala medier och sökmotorer ger oss nya sätt att kommunicera och närmast oändliga möjligheter att hitta information. Den här utvecklingen är en utmaning för ett demokratiskt samhälle, och särskilt aktuell mot bakgrund av det försämrade säkerhetspolitiska läget. - Skolverket har precis startat en utbildning i källkritik på nätet.
