You Probably Don't Have Bipolar Disorder (Or One Of These 7 Other Conditions) Severe depression, extreme irritability, over-exuberance: possible symptoms of bipolar disorder. Dying your hair and then missing the old color? Not bipolar disorder. Which is why Kylie Jenner's tweet saying as much was met with understandable backlash. I miss my black hair I'm so bipolar :( pic.twitter.com/YMRFXwKju8— Kylie Jenner (@KylieJenner) November 6, 2013 We were glad to see that Twitter users criticized her blasé misappropriation of such a serious mental illness. Bipolar disorder is just one of many diagnoses we'd like everyone to stop misusing. Bipolar Disorder Moods change all the time, but the drastic mood swings, as well as the intense changes in energy and activity levels of someone with bipolar disorder are life-altering. About 5.7 million American adults have bipolar disorder or roughly 2.6 percent of the 18-and-over population, according to the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH). Approximately 2.2 million American adults have OCD. Also on HuffPost:

Spectacles Spy Camera | Hidden Spy Glasses | Lawmate | Recording Spectacles - Online Spy Shop The next generation of slimline hidden camera spectacles - these are without doubt the most 'normal' looking and extremely well designed spectacles where the concave shape of the specs arms creates invisible shadow casting to cleverly conceal the camera lens. In previous versions, the camera lens was more obvious due to being fitted on a flat surface (do NOT purchase inferior flat surface mounted camera lens) however, this very latest release gives a much more natural and disguised appearance. These are without doubt the best available and ideal for body-worn surveillance by either a man / woman providing complete confidence in gathering undercover video and audio evidence at the highest level. A thin cable from the rear frame of the spectacles runs down inside your neck collar and plugs directly into the digital video recorder. All the necessary cables for watching recorded footage on your computer or play-back on a TV monitor are included. This HD model provides: No. Yes.

Such Hack. Many Dogecoin. Very Disappear. So Gone. Wow. Dogecoin, the virtual currency that was named after a silly meme but has been described as a potential successor to Bitcoin, suffered its first hacking incident today, with Dogewallet users losing an estimated 21 million Dogecoins. The incident was confirmed by Dogewallet in a Reddit post after users reported disappearing Dogecoins on Doges.com’s forum. In an email, Dogewallet told us: The hacking incident was extremely unfortunate for the Dogecoin community and all members of the Dogecoin community. Dogewallet promised to fully refund all lost coins and has temporarily shut down its site. Each Dogecoin is currently worth about US$0.00057. In its Reddit post, Dogewallet said that they are “currently looking at logs and have found thousands of attempts to hack our systems.” Along with several hacking attempts on Bitcoin wallets, the Dogecoin incident is a reminder that all online wallets are vulnerable to hacking. “We’re incredibly sorry to all users who lost funds from the attack.

How US Internet service might get better—and worse—in 2014 2013, like just about every year before it, was the year nearly all of us complained about our Internet service. "It's too slow!" we said. "Too expensive!" And we were generally right, as a study by the New America Foundation's Open Technology Institute found that US consumers pay more for slower service than counterparts in other countries. But 2013 wasn't just more of the same—there were big developments that make 2014 worth watching, for good and bad reasons. As we look back at 2013 and ahead to next year, let's start with the good news. In November we described how officials in Louisville, Kentucky, and the Bryan/College Station area in Texas are laying the groundwork for fiber networks to benefit residents and make the cities more attractive to businesses. These cities are still planning to rely on ISPs, hoping that incentives can lure a new provider or convince existing ones to build out fiber networks to rival Google's. Wheeler was asked by US Rep.

Home | TWiT.TV Stunning photography of man's mightiest shame The first song, The Ballad of Bill Hubbard, on Roger Waters' album Amused to Death begins with an anecdote. It is the story of a wounded soldier asking to be abandoned to die on the battlefield. Told in a matter-of-fact tone by the aged voice of the soldier who abandoned him, it creates a strong counterpoint to the emotion that underlies the story. Matter-of-fact story telling makes Peter Essick's book, Our Beautiful, Fragile World, an emotional snapshot of environmental tragedies in progress. Essick has put about a hundred of his most evocative images in a coffee table book. The storytelling complements the imagery very well. Despite the beauty, though, the overriding tone is one of sadness. This book is really a cry for attention. In only one place does Essick's matter-of-fact approach breakdown. The images are, without exception, stunning, and Essick has done about as well as is possible given the format.

Now you can do the same thing, but wirelessly. His new product, called Teleza, costs $129 and is styled like a high-end cigarette case. The Teleza is quad-band GSM compatible. He’s shipping the devices after Christmas. While dual-SIM phones are a dime-a-dozen in China, they’re fairly rare over here. Thorium put to use, kills a few more versions of Supersymmetry Are there any particles beyond the Higgs lurking where the LHC might discover them? A team of researchers that calls itself the ACME project has now produced a measurement that says the answer is "probably not." ACME looked for any imperfections in the shape of an electron's electric field and placed a limit on the measurements that is 12 times smaller than anyone had previously achieved. The research relied on thorium atoms, which are mostly discussed as a potential nuclear fuel. The imperfection the ACME team was after is called the electric dipole moment, and it's measured relative to the electron's spin. To measure it, the ACME team built a device that could send a beam of cold thorium oxide molecules into a device. After building up a huge number of measurements, the authors searched through them for potential sources of error, identifying a few and correcting for them. When all was said and done, no sign of an electric dipole moment was apparent.
