Stars - Celestial Objects on Sea and Sky Lights in the Sky For eons, mankind has looked to the heavens and wondered at the lights in the sky. Ancient people believed they could see shapes among the stars. They identified both animals and people, and each had its own story. These chance alignments of the stars are known as constellations. Today, the 88 constellations are used by astronomers to organize the night sky and to identify the locations of the stars. Contrary to popular belief, stars do not actually twinkle. A Nuclear Furnace A star is like a gigantic nuclear furnace. The Circle of Life Stars begin their lives as clouds of dust and gas called nebulae. The nebula that was expelled from the star may continue to expand for millions of years. Types of Stars

13 Lessons to Teach Your Child About Digital Photography Today while sorting through some old boxes I found a photo album filled with the first ever photos that I took as a young budding photographer. I was around nine years old when I first started using our family’s film point and shoot camera and I still remember my Dad’s ‘training’ on how to use it. Basically it consisted of this advice: ‘Don’t take too many shots’ Remember, this was back in the day of film photography where film and processing costs made my Dad’s advice pretty sound. Note – before I start I should say that you can probably teach a child too much about photography and ‘kill’ some of the playfulness that I think makes the images that a child can take special. 1. Looking over many of the shots that I took in those early days shows me that I took a lot of shots of almost exactly the same things. 2. A very simple concept that can enhance an image is to check out the background of a shot to check for clutter or distraction. Read more about How to Get Backgrounds Right 3. 4. 5.

What Is AirServer? Direction and focus are both crucial in business presentations. One of the issues when using a laptop connected to a big screen is that you need to be within arms reach of the keyboard to page through your presentation. Sometimes this setup is neither practical nor desirable. For instance, suppose you want to direct a presentation standing beside a big screen at the front of a room. Sprinting back and forth to your laptop or winking awkwardly at a co-working to page forward can break the flow of a presentation. AirServer installed on your laptop solves this problem by giving you the freedom direct your presentations how you really want to. Summary Beam your iPad or iPhone screen to a HDMI or VGA projector, smartboard or HDTV via a Mac or PC.
