Pour précision c'est une application multiplateforme (GNU/Linux et Windows) EKD est un logiciel extrêmement simple d’utilisation, il est ainsi possible (et souhaitable) de l’utiliser en classe avec des élèves de primaire, de collège et/ou de lycée. Le logiciel a été crée (et est toujours développé) par un enseignant, il est donc très adapté, de part (entre autre) son ergonomie et sa disposition générale (un menu … une action), à une utilisation en classe avec les élèves.
