MY KOMIK, MY WORLD!!: HAWKEYE. Clint Barton menjadi yatim piatu pada usia dini ketika orang tuanya meninggal dalam kecelakaan mobil, dan dikirim ke panti asuhan bersama dengan saudaranya Bernard. Dia dan saudaranya melarikan diri untuk bergabung dengan Carson Carnival of Traveling Wonders sebuah pertunjukan sirkus keliling, dan bekerja sebagai pesuruh.
Selama menjadi anggota sirkus Clint dilatih oleh 'Swordsman" (Jacques Duquesne) dan Trickshot. Hidup Clint kemudian selamanya berubah saat ia memergoki Swordsman sedang menghitung uang hasil dari merampok sirkus tempat Clint bekerja. Awalnya Swordsman mengajak Clint untuk bergabung, tapi Clint menolak sehingga pertarungan tak bisa dielakkan dan berakhir dengan perginya Swordsman yang meninggalkan Clint yang terjatuh dari tempat tinggi sehingga hampir mati. Bernard pun meninggalkan Clint dan memilih untuk mengikuti Swordsman. Clint mengembara berkeliling keseluruh negara sehingga kemampuan alami memanahnya terasah ke tingkat ahli.
