Cybersix is a series of Argentinian comics first published in 1993, drawn by Carlos Meglia and written by Carlos Trillo for the Italian comics magazine Skorpio (Eura Editoriale). The series first appeared in Spanish in November 1993. The heroine of the series is the eponymous character, Cybersix (more properly Cyber-6), a leather-clad, genetically-engineered superhero who by day masquerades as a male high school literature teacher, and by night battles the monstrous biological weapons of her creator. She is aided in her adventures by her younger brother Cyber-29, who was reborn in the body of a black panther known as Data-7.

She wrote the screenplay for Theo van Gogh 's movie Submission , after which she and the director both received death threats, and the director was murdered. The daughter of the Somali politician and opposition leader Hirsi Magan Isse , she is a founder of the women's rights organisation the AHA Foundation . [ 2 ]

Lake Retba or Lac Rose lies north of the Cap Vert peninsula of Senegal , north east of Dakar . [ 1 ] It is so named for its pink waters, caused by Dunaliella salina algae in the water that produce a red pigment that uses sunlight to create more energy, turning the waters pink. [ 2 ] The color is particularly visible during the dry season . The lake is also known for its high salt content, which, like that of the Dead Sea , allows people to float easily. [ 1 ] The lake also has a small salt collecting industry and is often the finishing point of the Dakar Rally . [ 3 ] Many salt collectors work 6–7 hours a day in the lake, which has a salt content of up to 40% in some areas. [ 4 ] In order to protect their skin, they rub their skin with "Beurre de Karité" ( shea butter , produced from shea nuts obtained from the Shea nut tree ), which is an emollient used to avoid tissue damage. [ 1 ]

Ahmadiyya [ pronunciation? ] ( Arabic : أحمدية ; Urdu : احمدِیہ ) is considered by the community themselves, some respected authors and many media outlets to be an Islamic reformist movement, although mainstream Muslims do not accept this. [ 1 ] [ 2 ] [ 3 ] It was founded in British India near the end of the 19th century, originating with the life and teachings of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (1835–1908), who claimed to have fulfilled the prophecies of the world's reformer during the end times , who was to herald the Eschaton or day of judgement as predicted in the traditions of various world religions and bring about the final triumph of Islam as per Islamic prophecy. He claimed that he was the Mujaddid (divine reformer) of the 14th Islamic century , the promised Messiah and Mahdi awaited by Muslims. [ 4 ] [ 5 ] [ 6 ] The adherents of the Ahmadiyya movement are referred to as Ahmadis or Ahmadi Muslims.
