Dust Ball Dust Ball the robotic vacuum and his charger. Dave Hakkens Roombas are cute and everything, but when they annoy you, they don’t respond well to being kicked in the side. Not so with Dust Ball , a new robotic vacuum cleaner concept designed by a Dutch engineer. Inspired by a hamster ball and resembling a pollen grain, Dust Ball can be pushed or kicked in any direction to clean. Watch it roll in this video.

Napkin PC (by @baekdal) #design
Written by Thomas Baekdal | Tuesday, January 08, 2008 It is the time of CES and the media is currently filled with a lot of very interesting products - but here is one that you will not see (unfortunately). It's a PC the size of a napkin. The best part is that it is based on passive screen technology (epaper), which means that it only needs power when you change it. The result is that whatever you draw on it will stay on the screen forever (or atleast until you change it) without the need for cables or batteries. This is a brilliant concept by Avery Holleman , and apart from the color epaper, all of it could be done today.Hidden hideaways | Busyboo Design Blog

I've always leaned towards browns, blacks, creams and earthy colors in home decoration, that's the boring in me. But, I don't know, I'm kind of starting to like bright colors more. Kaleidoscope kind of colors, like turquoise, fuchsia, pink, aqua, violet, yellow, orange... all combined together. I admit that could be a bit retina-searing sometimes, but if expertly put together... it looks something like this... {photos via coastal living , mc maison , home sweet home . and I couldn't remember where this lunch box came from, if anybody knows, let me know }

I have limited counter space, so a counter spice rack is out as well. (and besides, most of them are positioned so that you can't really see what's in the bottles, which kinda defeats the purpose of this project.) Even if I did happen to find room for a traditional spice rack, most of them only hold 12 or 15 bottles. And I have WAY more sprinkles than that!

Designed by Phil Sims and ideal for a novelty shaving mirror or just an interesting decoration for your living room wall, it's even got the name of the most famous razorblade-user of all on the front - Sweeney Todd. Razor Blade Mirror is selling for £74.99. The price is pretty high for a mirror. So, make sure you are not buying this mirror only for just a “mirror”!

You clearly can't fill this hot tub with water, yet when you get inside of it you're dropped into a nice, steamy pool. How's it work? The reality is just as crazy as you may have thought (well, unless you were counting on magic ): the hot tub sinks down into the floor, so you get an entire tub-full when you sit down, but none of it spills out of that open side. See below for how it looks. The design comes from Italy's HeyTeam, and it sure is one opulent way to enjoy some hot water. Of course, the downside is you can't sit two people on that onward side — or, at least, there aren't any jets on that end to blow pleasant bubbles against the occupant's back, legs and feet.
