According to NME, vinyl sales in the US have increased by an impressive 52% to $222 million in the first half of 2015.
Regardless of the endless options for streaming music, streaming revenue has surprisingly only seen a 27% increase to $163 million. These numbers are expected to jump by the end of the year when the calculations for Apple Music are included—it was not incorporated due to its launch in late June.
