Organized by: Inter-American Development Bank - IDB Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean - ECLAC with the collaboration of: Escuela de Administración y Finanzas y Tecnologías, Universidad EAFIT, and Universidad del Rosario September 29 and 30, 2014 Bogota, Colombia The objective of the regional meetings is to establish a space for dialogue among modelers working on the region and to strengthen capabilities in the analysis and evaluation of public policies. The event is a space for methodological and economic policy discussions for researchers and policymakers who work in the Latin American and Caribbean region.

On one hand, the event seeks to increase the knowledge of modelers with regard to new areas of analysis using CGEs, while on the other hand it seeks to provide feedback on the modeler’s research from economic policymakers. National Incident-Based Reporting System Resource Guide. About the National Incident-Based Reporting System (NIBRS) The National Incident Based Reporting System (NIBRS) is an incident-based reporting system for crimes known to the police. For each crime incident coming to the attention of law enforcement, a variety of data are collected about the incident. These data include the nature and types of specific offenses in the incident, characteristics of the victim(s) and offender(s), types and value of property stolen and recovered, and characteristics of persons arrested in connection with a crime incident.

Incident-based data provide an extremely large amount of information about crime. The information is also organized in complex ways, reflecting the many different aspects of a crime incident.
