Master Hand playable character in Super Smash Bros.
It's one of those urban legend glitches and it actually turned out to be true! In Super Smash Bros., there were three characters that are non-playable; one of which being Master Hand, serving as the final boss of Single Player Mode. The new episode of myth-busting show Pop-Fiction explains, how players can unlock the disembodied gloved one. Another interesting glitch uncovered a few years ago, if you missed it back then, was the "Black Hole Glitch" which creates a vicious black hole that kicks people up to 999% damage. We're guessing these two will give you enough incentive to take some dust off your Gamecube. via gametrailers

The PlayStation's creation was a bumpy ride. It began as a CD drive for the SNES, but Nintendo noticed too late that the contract was too favorable to Sony, jumped ship, and went to bed with Philips (which ultimately led to the creation of the infamous CD-i and the worst Zelda games ever). Scorned and fuming with resentment, Sony decided to take what they had at that point and make their own console. Many expected it to be an also-ran, at most a distant third place. Yet the angry newcomer came out swinging and crushed the competition, leaving them asking: what the hell just happened?
