There are some attractive Adobe Flash based solutions for this type of UI component, and while JavaScript versions exist (see this and this ) , the commercial Flash products tend to have better aesthetics and polish. To redress the balance in JavaScript's favour, I have created this jQuery carousel plugin. New version 1.0.5 works with IE9 (reflections now use Canvas and is much faster). What is jCarousel Lite? jCarousel Lite is a jQuery plugin that carries you on a carousel ride filled with images and HTML content. Put simply, you can navigate images and/or HTML in a carousel-style widget. It is super light weight, at about 2 KB in size , yet very flexible and customizable to fit most of our needs.
