I have the 32 bit version which could be why. Though I have read some 64 bit Windows 8 users cannot run it. Like windows Movie Maker 2.1 and 2.6 quite user friendly. Cons Not many.Some users say it won't install or run on Windows 8. Summary Photo Story 3 is working on my windows 8 Pro-the reason is probably because I have got 32 bit. Vine, a social video app purchased by Twitter, is growing in popularity — and fast. What happens when the two collide? PBL teachers across the country intend to find out. What Is Vine? Recently we took a more general look at Vine in the classroom, but in short, Vine is video’s answer to the popular photo-sharing app Instagram, with a bit of tumblr and twitter thrown in. This deceptively simple application allows users to capture and share six-second video clips–rather than pure gif animations–through social media. But over at YouTube, they’re finding shorter isn’t always better. “It’s kind of counterintuitive,” says Vanessa Pappas, Global Head of Audience Development at YouTube. “But we’re finding the audience is there for all types of content. Possibly there’s a shift taking place from thinking of YouTube as a place for snackable content to thinking of it as a place for more engaging content, and more storytelling.” One example: When Vice first launched its YouTube channel, “they were producing the more typical YouTube snackable content, the stuff people are aware of, two to three minutes long, funny, easily shareable,” Pappas says.
