Physical Sciences Centre - Publications - Miscellaneous
The HE Academy UK Physical Sciences Centre has been carrying out surveys over the last six months of Chemistry, Physics and Forensic Science graduates from universities in England, Scotland and Wales. The surveys, which were supported by the Royal Society of Chemistry, the Institute of Physics and the Forensic Science Society, were designed to identify which areas of the curriculum and generic skills are of particular value to new graduates and how well they were developed within the degrees. Each review, one in chemistry and one in physics, has produced a report which provides a snap shot picture of the student learning experience from entry into Higher Education to entry into employment. The reports bring together existing data and collated research undertaken by the Centre. These handouts are designed for undergraduate students to give them information about the employability skills they are acquiring during their degrees and how to sell these skills to employers.Claims that autism is caused by vaccines containing thimerosal have been floored by increasing rates of autism in kids not exposed to the chemical Impossible explosion: The Buncefield blast explained FEATURE: 08:00 05 April 2012
